Well, Sydney’s Australian Fashion Week is done and dusted for another year, so the one question on everyone’s lips is who was wearing what?!
So, let’s get into it - what were the icons of Sydney wearing to the star-studded event? Did the fashionistas take inspiration from The Met Gala’s theme, by any chance? Or was it more about self-expression through fashion?
Starting off strong: Christian Wilkins in a stunning double denim fit. He’s an icon, he’s gorgeous, and yep - he’s a real-life Ken. “That’s so ’90s,” and it works!

Up next was, of course, beauty queen Maria Thattil... I mean, I have no words. No wonder she was Miss Universe Australia. She’s so much more than that, of course - speaker, author, and advocate. But let’s get into her outfit! This was my favourite look of hers from Fashion Week: stunning, and just pure class. Maria wore a made-to-order Mariam Seddiq couture dress. Just effortless. She paired it with Georg Jensen jewellery and Nine West shoes. What a queen!

Coco Weissman is giving pure celestial energy in this look. She effortlessly blends high fashion with ethereal charm - like an angel who just stepped off a runway. The silver metallics she's wearing are not only on trend (a major hit at fashion week this year), but they also elevate the entire outfit into something futuristic yet timeless. It’s chic, it’s radiant, and it’s got that soft otherworldly glow that makes you do a double take. Classy with a cosmic twist - count me obsessed. Time to add some silver to my wardrobe too!

Valeria Busch, Sydney fashion stylist, knows exactly what she’s doing! Just look at this stunning blush pink outfit, paired with a silver safety pin bag (yes, you read that right!) and the cutest little silver ballet flats. Just gorgeous. Normally I wouldn’t be drawn to a silver moment, but this one? It’s a big YES from me!

Now, Bhavninder Sanghera - what a legend. I love what he does. He knows how to make unexpected combinations work! The bold colours he puts together are made to stand out... obviously. And he’s a big advocate for sustainability too. We love that. Go Bhav!

Talk about clean and sophisticated! What a gorgeous look. Who would’ve thought a suit could look that good? Fashion model @axlenciaga is another one who just knows what works.

Phoebe Spiller... what a queen. She can do no wrong. This is probably one of my favourite looks of the entire week. Like Phoebe said, it’s still masculine but feminine at the same time - in this gorgeous Bec + Bridge fit. Also, I think deep red might just be the new colour palette of Sydney fashion. What do you guys think?

And finally - hello there, Angelina Jolie x Lara Bingle hybrid! This street style look is EVERYTHING. I love how it seems so basic, but really, it’s not? The heels are the perfect extra touch, and that wet, slicked-back hair look? Stunning.

And that’s a wrap on this year’s Fashion Week - and I’m obsessed. If there’s one thing we’ve learnt, it’s that there really are no rules when it comes to fashion. It’s all about wearing what makes you feel confident and expressing who you are.
